Yes. Once the MCP file is uploaded and added as a connector, Claude can read and edit files inside public_html on your instruction.
Deletes go to _trash, file access is limited to public_html, database reads are read-only by default, and writes need confirmation. Keep the filename private and remove the file if you no longer need it.
Open the full URL in a browser to confirm the file is reachable. Check the filename is exact, the URL has no ?key=, and your hosting is not blocking the request.
Confirm config.php exists in the same location and defines $pdo. If your table names are custom, regenerate the file with those names in Advanced settings.
